NaNoWriMo Progress Report + Updates Pt 3

Holy shit.

Here we are folks: November 28th. There are only three days left of National Novel Writing Month.

Between my last update and this one I really busted my ass to get back on track. The hustle was especially strong this past weekend, when I put my head down and managed to crank out 10,ooo words on top of, y’know, living my life.

I currently have just under 8,000 words left to finish in the next three days and they are going to happen.

As hard as this past month has been, NaNoWriMo has been a truly amazing experience. Even though I’m not quite done yet I’m still in awe of what I’ve accomplished. In 27 days I’ve managed to hammer out a (very rough) first draft of a story I love. A story with layers! And plots twists! And drama! And girls kissing!

Ugh. I swoon.

Good luck to all my fellow Wrimos who are fighting the good fight and making that final push throughout these next few days. You can do it! I believe in you!

Other Updates

If you’ve been following along then you know that The Star and the Ocean is now officially on hiatus. Chapter 45 went up on Friday. I’m going to try and get the story finished before I leave for holidays but if NaNoWriMo has taught me anything it’s that the amount of words I have in mind will take a lot more time than I realize.

So, whether it’s before I leave for holidays or early January, the next time I update TSATO it will be the rest of the story all at once. I’ve noticed a lot of full read-throughs in my stats over the last few days so thank you to the mystery readers! I hope you’ve enjoyed it 🙂
