A few days ago I was nominated by A.M. Bradley (aka akaluv) for the Entertainer Blogger Award which is super swell and nice. Thank you! I encourage you to visit their blog – it’s full of helpful articles and interesting discussions for writers, as well as their own personal writing projects!
- Write a post including the award picture
- Nominate 12 other bloggers who are funny, inspiring, and most importantly entertaining!
- Nominees will answer the same questions as the ones below
- Thank the person who nominated you and leave a link to their blog
- Answer the questions down below
Rather than nominate 12 people arbitrarily, I’m going to focus on the friends & followers who tend to engage the most:
What do you hope to gain from blogging?
I hope to connect with other writers, readers, and like-minded people! I created this blog to share my stories and thoughts/ideas with other people and I’d love to come away from it with some legitimate friendships and hopefully some dedicated readers too 🙂
What genre of film entertains you the most?
I am a fan of cartoons. Animated movies will always be my favourite, no questions asked. I also enjoy musicals and Old Hollywood!
Do you consider yourself to be a writer, and what inspires you to write?
I absolutely consider myself to be a writer. I’m inspired by my experiences in life – writing helps me make sense of things. I’m also inspired by my desire to add my voice to bisexual representation in media.
Why did you choose your particular WordPress username?
It… It’s my name…
Although my username on all other social accounts is star-powered/star_powered, which is a subtle nod to Emanthy in my story The Star and the Ocean.
What’s your favourite book and why does it speak to you?
The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein, for two reason:
- It’s a compelling story that taught me to consciously be the best version of myself, even if it feels like no one will ever know.
What’s your favourite song and why does it speak to you?
I have too many favourite songs to pick just one!
What is your favourite photograph and why does it speak to you?
This picture of my dog. It speaks to me because it captures his true essence. He is the prince of my otherwise cold and unfeeling heart.
