My 2016 NaNoWriMo Novel Summary + TSATO Schedule for November

Happy Halloween everyone!

Holy shit, I can’t believe October is already over!

NaNoWriMo kicks off tomorrow and I’m just about ready to dive in head first.

My novel this year will be expanding on the world and characters I introduced in my short story, The Witch’s Luck.

Here’s a super quick summary:

Noori’s world is full of magic, she just doesn’t realize it. That is, until desperate circumstances lead her to the door of the mysterious art witch, Keizsa. Noori only means to strike a deal with the paint-wielding sorceress, but winds up caught in the middle of a powerful witches’ feud instead. Does a human like Noori stand a chance in the face of curses, spells, and a witch’s jealousy? Or is she just the woman to end this enchanted quarrel once and for all?

It’s interesting to see how much the source material has evolved during the planning and outlining process. I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into this story!

As for The Star and the Ocean, I spent last weekend busting my ass trying to get ahead. I wound up with enough chapters to post at least once a week like I originally planned, but at that point I was in too deep and obsessed with what was going on. Anyway, to make a long story short, there will be no disruptions to the posting schedule. Expect new chapters every Tuesday and Friday throughout October!

Good luck to everyone finishing the last of their NaNo prep today. November is going to be awesome!
