Getting Ready for NaNoWriMo 2016

I had a moment this weekend where I realized that, shit: it’s October. That means November is right around the corner. I’ve been planning on taking part in NaNoWriMo all year and now that it’s almost here, I’m staring to panic and get excited all at the same time.

I’m in the middle of trying to get 14 chapters of The Star and the Ocean written before the end of the month (probably way too ambitious of a goal, to be honest). This might actually get me to the end of the book but, if not, it would at least get me to December. If I can get them all done I’ll be able to focus on Nano without having to work on two stories at once or having to miss a TSATO update.

We’ll see how that plan goes.

Anyway, I’m torn between two projects for Nano and I wanted to get some reader input before I make a decision. What do you think I should work on for National Novel Writing Month?

If you’re unfamiliar with my work, check out book 1 of The Star and the Ocean and The Witch’s Luck!
